Happily Ever After

Earlier this month we received this pair of Edward Green MTO’s that were ordered for our clients wedding. His tuxedo was dark blue and he had a very clear idea of the type of shoes he wanted to wear. The shoes would be a classic Balmoral style as unadorned as possible. After careful consideration we decided on the Ifford for its simplicity and elegance.

Being that the shoes were for such a momentous occasion we asked EG if they would add the wedding date to the soles and they kindly agreed. Now they’re not only special because they’re Edward Green, they’re a lasting memory of this most auspicious day. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. K. we wish you a lifetime of heath and happiness and of course great shoes.

They should give these out as wedding favors.

    That would be some favor.

As someone who doesn’t celebrate his own birthday, much less those of others, or any holidays, or the theory that children are our future, the theory that paper bags will save the planet from suffocating on plastic (plastic came from the earth! everyone forgets that) and as one who doesn’t go all gooey over weddings, this is a nice post, and those are very handsome shoes. Wonder how much he’ll get for ‘em if they divorce and they go on Ebay? Hopefully, he’ll wear ‘em once, box ‘em, and never wear ‘em again. He can recoup the sale price, plus some.

Good work, Steven! Happy New Year. Thanks for your support this last year.
