Alden Saddle Shoes

We’re back from vacation and what a treat to have these new saddle shoes arrive. Made expressly for Leffot by Alden, saddle shoes are as American as it gets and black and whiskey is a great combination. We designed these on natural plantation crepe soles for all day comfort and all weather wear-ability.

I wore my Color 8 saddle shoes around London and Paris to rave reviews it’s just such a classic look and I couldn’t help but notice the prevalence of American products in both cities.

Please please please do whiskey saddle with tan suede!!! I am so glad you were bold enough to make such a marvel of a shoe with a whiskey shell saddle.

I don’t care if it takes years I’ll pay in full now!!

I’m a fan of the Whiskey saddle as well. I’m on a black shoe strike, but I’d love to see this redone with a nice brown pebble leather on a single leather sole.

    Hi Steven,

Received my black/whiskey saddles today and they are incredible – exactly what I was looking for; something to wear with black other than a solid black shoe. The unique look of the pebble grain contrasting with the shell is just awesome.

Of course, they’re ready to go right out of the box thanks to the crepe soles and I’m wearing them now.

I love all three of your saddles and hope you’ll consider a reorder on the no. 8′s – so much nicer than the traditional no. 8/black make-up. It’s a shoe I’d like to own.

Thanks again – as always your service is top notch – none better.

Glad to hear you love them. Perhaps one day in the future we’ll reorder the color 8/Alpine grain version until then enjoy.

My whiskey/black saddles have just arrived and are great. Love the crepe soles. As a side note, I bought my first pair of Alden shoes ( cordovan shell loafers) 30 years ago this September when I first went to work. Bought a second pair of Alden loafers after I spent 4 years in Denver in the late 80′s and ruined them walking on salted sidewalks. Still have the second pair along with a low vamp cordovan loafer, a whiskey cordovan loafer and a black tassel. Alden has refurbished them all a couple of times and I still wear them all. Fortunately, Houston doesn’t have salted sidewalks. Hope that you do other variations of the Alden saddle shoe in years to come.
