Alden x Leffot Brown Chromexcel Longwing

Alden’s Longwing Blucher is a classic for a reason. It is one of the most versatile dress shoes you can find, floating through a wide range of occasions. It’s versatility allows for a swath of variations. This version comes in soft and supple brown chromexcel leather, flexible double waterlock soles, and agatine eyelets, a significantly more rugged and casual take on the classic.

One can choose to treat this shoe as either a casual or dress shoe. Use Montana Pitch Blend’s waxy leather dressing to protect it from the rain and keep the leather soft or use Saphir Renovateur and Wax Polish to dress them up and polish to a high gloss. Either way, they’ll look great for years.

These are sweet. I hope you still have 10s or 10.5s on Monday morning. I’ll call ahead before walking over.

Am I the only one noticing that the perforations on the toe of these shoes are alot closer to the weltline on the left shoe than on the right? Is this a common defect?

Will, I picked these up yesterday and wore them today–love ‘em. I just checked the details on my new pair and it don’t see what I think you’re saying. Totally satisfied.

Derek, I think they are beautiful shoes as well, nothing against them at all. My observation was based on the photographs above rather than seeing them in person. The perforations in the toe on the left shoe reach down and almost go below the lip of the split welt, where on the right shoe they are not. I was only wondering if all of them are like this, or if it was just he pair in the photograph. Hope you enjoy them!

Do you have this shoe available in 9D? They look beautiful. I thought Alden don’t make brown chromexcel longwing because the pull up leather will make the color uneven. Please correct me if I am wrong?

Sorry size 9 is sold out in this shoe. I never heard that Alden will not make shoes in brown cxl.
