Alden 403 Indy Boots

Fall is here, and there’s no better time to get your staple boots ready for the long stretch of nasty weather ahead. Some might say that Alden’s Indy Boot is the perfect boot, a classic American work boot designed for comfort, support, and endurance.

It’s secret is balance, between support and comfort, ruggedness and refinement, practicality and style. The shoe’s custom heal is designed to support the arch, while its Brown Chromexcel leather is soft and supple. It’s designed as a work boot, but its unique stitching and subdued look make it easy to casually pair with sport coats and dress slacks. They are so useful and wearable that you may be tempted to wear them, straight into next summer.

I can’t tell you how much I love my 403′s. Because of the superior support, I find them as comfortable as many of my sneakers and can walk along the NYC streets for hours in them. Along with the fit, the color and rugged look also sets them apart from any other work boot, and I have a few different brands, and makes them quite wearable with jeans and a blazer, my favorite look. I have more refined boots (all Alden shell cordovans), but for everyday kicking around, Its the Indys for me. I guess my 403′s will outlast me.
