Alfred Sargent Armfield

The black captoe balmoral shoe is a basic menswear necessity. Alfred Sargent’s Armfield, from their Exclusive Range, is just that shoe, made with a perfect combination of elegance, craftsmanship, and practicality.

If you wear suits regularly, the Armfield can be a standby, the kind of shoe that will look classic with any relatively formal suit. Wear it as a subtle, classic compliment to a serious wardrobe.

If you don’t wear suits on a regular basis, the Armfield is just the shoe for special occasions. With care, you could wear theses to every special occasion, and important meeting that you attend for the rest of your life. Either way, you’ll be well dressed.

And because the shoe has a sleek, streamlined last, you can even put these on with a dark pair of tapered jeans for an elegant but stylish, casual look.

I am preparing to buy a pair of this kind of shoes and I hesitate among many brands offering the same model.
AS Armfield, Church Consul, Church Henry II, Crockett & Jones Lonsdale, and EG Chelsea.
What will I get more if I choose the most expensive (Edward Green Chelsea), in terms of comfort, elegance, durability,…
And what are the advantages and disadvantages of the AS Armfield comparing with these 4 other models?
