I just can’t get enough of those Wolverine Boots. Do you think the 744′s would fit the same as the 1000 mile brown boots do – they run pretty large?

The 744 boots do not run as large as the original 1000 mile boots. We recommend buying your true shoe size in these.

I am interested in purchasing the wolverine cordovan 1000 mile boot. Not sure of correct size. I normally wear 8.5 in runners or 8 in alden trubalance. Phoned wolverine manufacture about sizing for the 744 and told to half size down, wich conflicts with your sugestion. Help.

The “Original 1000″ mile boot sizing is larger and in general the same as the TruBalance last. The 744 LTD is made on a different last and in our experience most customers buy these in their actual shoe size.
That’s our general recommendations it’s impossible to be 100% accurate, but sizes can be exchanged.
