We opened our doors for business on May 5th, 2008. That was a very exciting time, and as we celebrate our fifth anniversary we’re still excited to bring you shoes, accessories and events we hope you’ll enjoy.
We are extremely thankful, gratified and humbled to all who have supported and encouraged us along the way. With little more than a love of shoes and an idea that others might feel the same we opened our shop.
As we begin year six our goal remains the same, simply to bring you the choicest shoes and accessories possible while providing you with excellent service. Our sincere thanks to one and all.

We’ve reissued our Alden x Leffot Greenwich Boot in Tobacco Chamois. This is only the second release and they’re just as handsome as the first.
Alden’s elegant Greenwich wingtip boot is made on the Barrie last, arguably the most comfortable and best fitting of all Alden lasts.
The uppers are Horween Tobacco Chamois a fat liquored, mill dyed leather essentially an oiled nubuck that not only looks great but is ideal for wet weather wear, and is incredibly soft and supple, while agatine eyelets all the way up make for a simple unified look.
We built these boots on Double Flex Welt soles, which are oil soaked for flexibility but also have a high degree of water resistance.

Alden’s Color 8 Cordovan tassel loafer is among the most durable, versatile dress loafers you can find. Its deep hue pairs well with an array of colors, including light summer fabrics and bare ankles. Made in Horween Shell Cordovan, these will become family heirlooms.

Another shipment of Quoddy Maliseet’s and Boat Moc’s arrived at Leffot. These shoes are about as classic as you can get in moccasin territory. The Maliseet is Brown Chromexcel, complimented by a red brick camp sole, deerskin lining, four eyelets, and rawhide laces.
The Quoddy Boat Moc in vibrant Whiskey Cavelier is the perfect casual, comfortable shoe to wear with jeans or khakis. They’re unlined, so you can wear these without socks in summer or with socks in spring. Shorts, jeans, khakis are made to compliment these beautiful shoes.

Gaziano & Girling’s St. James is a somewhat sauce captoe oxford. Made on the soft square MH71 last in Vintage Oak we think this shoe is among their best looking. G&G creates contemporary designs of traditional English shoes bench-made in their factory in Kettering, UK.
Founded by Tony Gaziano and Dean Girling in 2006 they are recognized as elite shoemakers around the world. Tony Gaziano will be here May 14th for our next G&G Trunk Show we hope to see you there.
St. James MH71 Last, Vintage Oak, Oak Bark Soles
The Edward Green Ullswater is one of the styles in EG’s Lake collection. The name is derived from Lake Ullswater, which many describe as the most beautiful of the English lakes. The heavy country brogue design of this shoe is meant for country terrain.
Even though we’re city folks we commissioned EG to make the Ullswater in Horween navy crup (shell cordovan) for two reasons. We love the combination of brogue wingtips in crup and we love the way EG works with the material.
They make as clean a shell shoe as you will find. Couple that with the incredible EG fit and comfort and you have a shoe that will wear for a good 20 years.

Headquartered in Austria and made in Romania all Saint Crispin’s shoes are handcrafted by a small team of artisans, craftsmen and women. Their shoes are quite possibly as close to a bespoke fit as you will find in a ready to wear shoe. And while that may sound like a big statement, in our opinion these shoes are top flight all the way.
The attention to detail is evident in all aspects of the shoes, not least of which is the fit. Saint Crispin’s designs their shoes with human engineering in mind. The heels are canted, which is the outside of the heel is slightly lower than the inside, as is the top line under the ankles, thus cradling the natural resting position of your foot.
The same attention to design goes into the styling of the shoes as well. Saint Crispin’s shoes are some of the most unique shoes produced, full of individualism and character.
The company’s business model is based on custom shoe orders, as such you will be offered a wide variety of models, leathers and fits including individualized lasts. Your shoes will be delivered to you in approximately 8-10 weeks.

Alden’s Unlined Snuff Suede Loafer is possibly the easiest, most comfortable shoe you can get. These are a classic Alden model known as the Leisure Handsewn, or LHS for short, a shoe built on the Van last. Made in unlined snuff suede, this shoe fits like a sock, wrapping your foot in light and vibrant suede. With it’s oil-soaked flex welt, these loafers and light and flexible. This is the kind of shoe that you forget you have on.
We have a lot of experience with this color of suede. It is extremely versatile, pairing wonderfully with the indigo and white denim or the charcoal gray of wool dress slacks.
