Suede Chukkas boots are a staple of summer footwear. The Alden 1493 snuff suede chukkas are an excellent choice because they’re unlined, which makes them cool and comfortable.
These shoes feel like slippers form the moment you first slip them on. And unlike rubber sole chukkas the leather Flex Welt soles give this boot the added versatility of being slightly dressier.

The Wolverine 1000 Mile boots are still kicking and the Addison in Tan Inferno is an excellent color for summer.
Inferno is a leather produced by Horween Leather Company and is lightweight and supple. It develops a nice rich aged look with wear and conditioning.

Church’s Shoes of Northampton, England has produced these two made to order pairs for our clients. Both are heavily brogued wingtips, which we love on the Church’s classic 173 last.
What’s interesting about them is the two different materials; the white suede is very textural while the burgundy polished binder is smooth as glass. Both are handsome and timeless of course at different times of the year.

Patent leather is the ultimate material when it comes to formal wear. But it can also be worn less formally and is a chic look for summer.
The Edward Green Holborn in black patent leather and cement soles is a lightweight and soft shoe that can do double duty this summer.

These small brim hats are very light and flexible, which means they’re comfortable and cool. They’re 90% paper fiber and 10% hemp, which is also cool. Small brims can be worn up or down but in our opinion up is the only way to fly.

The Devil is in the details they say and when it comes to Pierre Corthay shoes it could not be more true. The Satan whole cut is here in Vieux Noir and it is hotter than Hades.
Pierre Corthay is arguably France’s most talented shoemakers he was awarded the honor of “Master of Art” by the government of France and creates shoes that are simply genius.
Corthay shoes are ultra sophisticated and elegant and available in the U.S. exclusively at Leffot.
Satan 001 Last, Vieux Noir
The Alden Longwings Blucher (LWB) on the Barrie last is one of our favorite shoes. We’ve made them in Tan Suede and Snuff Suede and now they’re here in Navy Suede on double waterlock soles.
The Barrie last is roomy and comfortable combined with the softness of Stead & Co. suede, which Alden uses, it makes for a super easy fit and in our opinion one good looking pair of shoes.

Saddle shoes are enjoying a renaissance these days most are traditional but they don’t have to be. The Edward Green Westwood is a handsome modern day saddle shoe.
Black and brown is a classic color combination it’s true but done on the square toe 888 last with all the elegance that is Edward Green these shoes are outstanding.
