The Edward Green Mercer is an elegant monk strap the kind of shoe you want to pair with a sharp grey or blue suit. The angled strap and clean forefoot creates an understated refinement that is classic Edward Green.
It’s no secret we love suede around here. We’re equally in love with the Edward Green Westminster double monkstrap shoe. Now for the first time we are stocking the Westminster in dark rich Mink suede on the 82 last.
To be honest I always saw this shoe as a perfect model for the 888 (square toe) last but I have to say this shoe is a refreshing revelation. In addition we added a double leather sole that lends a certain air of authority.
A recent delivery from Edward Green produced this assortment of Made to Order shoes. A reminder that our next trunk show with Edward Green will be May 10th we hope to see you there.

One of the most classic footwear details is brouging, which is essentially punching and gimping the leather to add elegance and flair to a variety of shoes and Edward Green does it so well.
Our Cadogan captoe is made up in Edwardian Antique, a bright and lively version of the stalwart classic. And our Malvern wingtip is in Dark Oak Antique, just about as fundamental as an English wingtip can get: ornate, yet dark and unassuming.
The Malvern and the Cadogan are two traditional styles that showcase the formal ease of brogued leather.

Spring is in the air and that means lighter colors and textures. Our new Malvern III spectator may be the ultimate spring/summer dress shoe.
Made in Coffee Suede and Beige Twill, these shoes present as subtly contrasted between the materials. Wearing a pair of spectators adds a smart sporty look to basically any seasonal outfit.
82 Last, Coffee Suede/Twill, Single Leather Soles
The Galway is a most classic English Country Boot, yet quite urbane by today’s standards. Combining a shaft supple Walnut Country Calf and the forefoot of smooth Dark Oak calfskin with Dainite soles and a smart tapered round toe, these shoes glide easily between dress and casual occasions. Wear them with a suit when the morning weather is sub-par or on a snowy Saturday stroll.
Boots don’t have to be rugged to get the job done but they do need to be well made and Edward Green makes them as good as they get.
