To commemorate our first anniversary in Chicago, we’ve made this boot in color 8 shell cordovan and dark brown Regina calf. They’re named after Dearborn Street, where our home in the Monadnock building is located.
As part of our anniversary celebration, a pair of shoe trees is included with each pair of boots.
Features: Hampton Last, Color 8 Shell Cordovan and Dark Brown Regina, Single Flex Welt Soles
In celebration of our ninth anniversary, we’ve made two limited edition Edward Greens from the very last of their mahogany pin grain calfskin. Both have are lined in green calfskin — the signature color also used on their boxes.
The first pair is one of our favorite shoes, the Dover. Handsewn with a pig’s bristle, it’s an elegant shoe that’s easy to dress up or down. We’ve done them on the 606 last with double leather soles. Only twelve pair available.
The second pair is Edward Green’s classic captoe balmoral, also known as the Chelsea. You don’t usually see this shoe on the 606 last, but we like its chiseled look paired with the pin-grained mahogany calfskin. Made on single leather shoes, we’ve limited the run to only six pairs.
Hard to believe it was eight years ago today we opened our doors for the first time. It is a humbling experience to own a small business, and our success is due to those of you who have encouraged and supported us over the years.
And to our trading partners who believed in us back in 2007, when we came to you with an idea of opening a multi-brand shoe store in the West Village. Not your most likely spot. Without your support we would not be here today.
We truly appreciate each and every customer who has purchased a can of shoe polish, pair of socks, or pair of shoes. It’s no small wonder that we’ve built a group of like-minded friends who share our passion and appreciation for high quality footwear and accessories.
As we enter our ninth year we reflect on our commitment to providing you with the best offerings and service possible.
Today we are very excited to announce that we will be entering a new phase in our growth. This fall we will open our first shop outside New York. We are proud to be coming to Chicago.
Our location will be in the historic Monadnock building on South Dearborn Street in the South Loop. We look forward to meeting friends old and new in this beautiful building in the heart of the city.
We’ll keep you posted with updates in the coming weeks and months. Until then, thank you all once again for your loyalty and patronage.
Chicago, here we come.
Ladies and Gentleman it is with great pleasure, gratitude and thanks that I tell you 5th marks the first year anniversary for Leffot. It has been a great start for our young company and we thank each and every client that has supported us either via purchase or simply visiting and spreading the word of our store.
We are also extremely grateful to all of our vendors that believed in our vision and took a chance on a new concept.
Our first major coverage came from “The Sartorialist”, a week after we opened and it all seemed to snowball from there.
We look forward to continually providing you with special merchandise and events be it shoes or accessories in the coming year. If there is anything we can do for you as always please let us know. We are here for you.
