Edward Green Ullswater, Navy Crup

The Edward Green Ullswater is one of the styles in EG’s Lake collection. The name is derived from Lake Ullswater, which many describe as the most beautiful of the English lakes. The heavy country brogue design of this shoe is meant for country terrain.

Even though we’re city folks we commissioned EG to make the Ullswater in Horween navy crup (shell cordovan) for two reasons. We love the combination of brogue wingtips in crup and we love the way EG works with the material.

They make as clean a shell shoe as you will find. Couple that with the incredible EG fit and comfort and you have a shoe that will wear for a good 20 years.

New Arrival – Church’s McFarlane

We received a brand new boot by Church’s today. The McFarlane is the first of our new fall boots to arrive. They some how remind me of Dr. Martens meet Tricker’s. These boots are black pull up calf (full grain) on storm welted double rubber lug soles. They have bumped out wing toes for roomy comfort, and are heavily brogued. These boots are great for lots of walking in good weather or bad, these are serious sh_t kickers.

I posted this new box in plaid. I was expecting the usual dark brown box and I actually did a double take when we opened the carton. Does anyone know what plaid this is?
