We gave these saddle shoes a rugged twist. Made on commando soles with a combination of Horween’s Arabica Lux and brown Alaska grain calfskin, they’re a preppy, casual take on the oxford.
At the height of their popularity during the fifties and sixties, saddle shoes were a staple of preppy Ivy Leaguers. The preppy doctrine Take Ivy includes an Ivy Wardrobe Directory, which includes saddle shoes.
